PostHeaderIcon Food Trip Friday: Gambas al Ajillo

gambas al ajillo

Here’s an addition to my recipes. We have tried Gambas Al Ajillo almost 2 years ago in Mooon Cafe in Cebu City when Ace’ HS batchmates treated us for a dinner and we all loved it so much! It was really delicious that I swore I will try it one of these days. Ace also requested for this dish but never got the chance to try it. Then I finally decided to give it a try last Tuesday. This is really easy to do. Recipe to follow.

Yellow Corn

My entry for this week is a boiled yellow corn that I cooked for Hubby’s snacks in the office. We bought the fresh corn at the market only to find out it wasn’t freshly picked so it’s not that sweet as it should be.

PostHeaderIcon Food Trip Friday: Carbonara

I used to experiment in the kitchen and here’s one of the products of my experimentation. We had carbonara during our neighbor’s birthday so while eating, my imagination runs on how it was prepared. I am not actually cooking white-sauced spaghetti because Ace doesn’t personally like it. He likes the spaghetti with a red sauce as what he used to eat since then. But when we had grocery shopping last Sunday at the newly-opened supermarket, I and Ace agreed on trying out Carbonara which I cooked last Monday for our midnight snack. In fairness, they said it was yummy — creamy and cheesy — and I do agree with them.
