The smell made him full
Ace was home early and I am still half way cooking our viand for dinner. I prepared Pork Binagoongan (sorry, no pictures this time as I am too lazy to take pictures) because it’s been a while since we had it. Just before I am done cooking, he asked if it will take a little longer. He’s complaining he’s already full with the smell of the dish and he’s afraid he can’t eat that much when it’s time for dinner. And when the table has been set, he played counter strike first to let the food cool down so he could eat without worrying for his tongue to get burned due to the hot food. I tell you, when he’s hungry, he don’t want anything to hinder him from continuous chewing and swallowing so he wanted the food to be just right (not too cold and not too hot) for his tongue to bear the heat.
Little Kowloon Dim Sum restaurant
Oh my! It’s been ages since my last post. I am planning to update this blog days ago but I am too lazy to resize the photos. Glad that I finally was able to push myself to post something here. Anyway, here’s the photos we took during one of our food trips in our all-time fave Dim Sum resto here in Davao.
After the worship service the other Sunday, we treated our tummies to Little Kowloon along Roxas Ave. and feasted on our fave Dim Sum foods for PhP48 each order…

Steamed Fried Rice…steamed fried rice with pork, shrimps and green peas. It can be eaten alone or if you want, you can order other dimsum…
my best fave…stuffed shrimps!
the shaomai
and our new fave…garlic pork.
We also had their one of a kind Buko Pandan but we forgot to take photo because we requested for it to be served after our meal and when it was in our table, we ate it right away that we forgot to take even just one photo.
As expected, our visit to Little Kowloon is satisfying and we are so full! So instead of hitting the mall afterwards, we decided to go home and have a nap because we are so sleepy (piggy traits!…natutulog pag busog).
Japanese Sweet Corn

One of our all-time fave for snacks….Japanese Sweet Corn! Sadly, seems not many farmers are planting this variety of corn here in our area because we seldom see this and there’s only one store that sells this fresh Japanese Sweet Corn and it’s Lisa’s Tender Lean Meats…yes, a Meat Shop that sells corn?
How I wish there’s many vendors selling this like along the road passing UP Dilliman going to Kalayaan Avenue where there’s a lot of sidewalk vendors of JAPANESE SWEET CORN.
Join the fun at Mellow Yellow Monday.
