Christmas party
We can’t help it. Christmas is in the air. Malls are always on sale and people start shopping. When I bought my second top at Loalde, the sales attendant mentioned they are running out of stocks because people start buying outfits for Christmas Parties that they’re going to attend. So this is the 2nd year that I won’t be attending a company Christmas Party. I even told Ace their company should make theirs a family gathering or even just to allow the employees to bring their spouse. Anyway, we’ll just wait for the Christmas invitations coming from Ace’ employer to know if the party is going to be exclusive for employees or with their spouse. I hope it’s the latter so I have a good reason to shop for my dress!Yay!
Shrimps with Broccoli
Obviously, we are lover of Shrimps here in the house. I have cooked different shrimp recipes so it’s time for a new one. This time, sauteed Shrimps with Broccoli.
To prepare:
Saute shrimps in Olive oil, lots of minced garlic, and onion. Pour desired amount of Sprite then cook for around 4-5 minutes. Season to taste. Put Broccoli and cook until it’s half done (I prefer half-cooked Broccoli).

Use barcode scanner to reduce manpower
The thought of barcode scanner just came to mind. I think it was this time of the year 6 years ago when Ace and a friend (now our wedding godfather) were talking about how the work process in Ace’ workplace will be done easier and accurate. Ace was working under Port Operations specifically shipping department with DM Fresh that time and checking of products being loaded in the vessel is done manually hence the high risk for human error especially during night time until dawn because checkers tend to be dopy. Checkers would just submit their output and Ace will suffer from headache of reconciling the data.
Why the barcode scanner? It was actually mentioned by Ninong Rino that barcode scanner could help solve the problem. Hence the reduction of people working as checkers will help the company reduce it’s manpower cost. Anyway, Ace is not connected with them anymore so let them solve their problem. Hope they have a better working system now.
