Current year is almost ending and I am so thankful for a very blessful and blissful 2009. Ace received his bonus weeks ago and we used it to purchase a sofa set. At last our living room is more homey. So thankful for Ace because instead of splurging himself to techie gadgets, he prioritized our home needs. When he saw my gift to our niece Ella which is an mp5, he got interested and Ella told her “yung PSP lang sa’yo Tito Ace kay pang boy yun” (get the PSP Tito Ace ‘coz it’s for boys). With that I am sure he’ll be frequenting the store at the mall selling gadgets like ipods, PSPs and the like. Here’s hoping for more blessings in the coming year so I could get Ace a PSP because he was so kind to buy my dream sofa set with his bonus.

Being in the rat race working under HR gave me the benefit of meeting other HR people from different companies. It’s been nice especially if we need people to fill up vacancies for the hard-to-fill up engineering jobs, even with vacancies for finance jobs that is quite easy to fill up because we ask for referrals from each other if we don’t find qualified applicants in our file. Since I knew about the manpower requirement in other companies, I sometimes relay that info to my former colleagues, friends, and even to the people whom I currently working with that time. So that gave the impression that I know a lot of vacancies that people just come to me and ask where they could apply. In the same way associates in HR would call to ask for referrals. Now that I am not in the rat race, I still receive emails, text messages or calls asking where I could refer them. That made me think, what if I put up a manpower outsourcing company?LOL

My first taste of Pizza Hut’s Lasagna Classico and it was so heavenly! Love it! Will try to cook this at home so we could enjoy Lasagna as much as we wanted for this one’s from Pizza Hut is a bit pricey for a snack.
