The smell made him full

Published by at 12:49 am under Kitchen Thoughts

Ace was home early and I am still half way cooking our viand for dinner. I prepared Pork Binagoongan (sorry, no pictures this time as I am too lazy to take pictures) because it’s been a while since we had it. Just before I am done cooking, he asked if it will take a little longer. He’s complaining he’s already full with the smell of the dish and he’s afraid he can’t eat that much when it’s time for dinner. And when the table has been set, he played counter strike first to let the food cool down so he could eat without worrying for his tongue to get burned due to the hot food. I tell you, when he’s hungry, he don’t want anything to hinder him from continuous chewing and swallowing so he wanted the food to be just right (not too cold and not too hot) for his tongue to bear the heat.

my first attempt of binagoongang baboy turned out too salty..i wonder, should i be using the fresh bagooong alamang instead? i used the bottled bagoong..

indeed, nothing is more annoying when your starving and the food is piping hot, impossible to chew…much to swallow…=) i ended up burning my tongue one time..
