Yummy and saucy Chili Garlic Clams served during the opening of Fiesta Sorpresa – a new dining destination in Digos City that serves buffet lunch and dinner. The restaurant opened last February and we are thankful to be invited during the opening.
I am not fond of this variety of clam because I find TAHONG (Asian green mussel) more delicious. I find clam meat to be “nakakaumay” that’s why I don’t prepare this kind of clam at home. But the chili garlic sauce of this dish made me appreciate clam meat and I would love to prepare this at home. Hopefully I could find clam in the nearest “talipapa” next time.

The great thing about going to a movie is that it allows you both to get comfortable in each other’s company, sitting in such close proximity but without actually having to talk. Fresh Fruit Salad made of Banana, Avocado, and Ripe Mango with condensed milk and a little bit of cream. Yummo!

This is my favorite when I was a kid. Mamang used to make this out of the Avocado and Mango fruits from my Aunt’s farm, and the ripe table banana from the market. Back when we don’t have a fridge, Mamang will put crushed ice and we have a yummy afternoon or post dinner snack! I think this will also be good for people on diet. Just minimize the milk and cream. It will make a healthy snack during a hot afternoon or anytime of the day.
