Miso-Marinated Seafood Kebabs recipe

Published by at 3:57 pm under recipe sharing

Here’s another easy recipe that I wanna try. But we don’t have an oven toaster so I might use the oven or microwave oven (I’ll see what’s appropriate for this). By reading the procedure and looking at the ingredients, this one’s a very easy dish that anybody could prepare…it’s as easy as pushing Bob revolution while strolling at the mall or at the park. No need for special cooking skills for this recipe.

Note: Cut the kebab items into uniform sizes to make sure it will cook at the same time.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rice wine or mirin
  • 3 tablespoons Japanese miso
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 fish fillets, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 small red bell pepper, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 small green bell pepper, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, sliced

Procedure:

  1. Combine rice wine, miso, and sugar. Add the fish and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Skewer the fish and vegetables alternately on wooden sticks that will fit into the toaster oven.
  3. Preheat the toaster oven then cook the seafood for about 7 minutes or until completely cooked.

So easy, right? Hope I could try this one soon. But have to ask Mr. G first if I can use the microwave for this. If not, then I have no choice but to use the oven..or roast in charcoal. Cool!
