One HS classmate just changed her relationship status to “engaged” and it stirred a lot of excitement to us so we’re expecting wedding invitations to come our way soon. For us FCs, wedding is one of the reason why we get together so I am really excited for the coming wedding of a friend whether it be in the next few months or next year. This is gonna be a great opportunity for us to get together and have photo ops.LOL. Obviously, we are all camera whore even during our high school days. We have tons of photos even if there’s no occasion. Once one of us brings a camera to school, you’ll find us everywhere striking a pose. Nothing has changed for the last 14 years. We are still the camera suckers that we are…the only difference is, our cameras are digital now. So we don’t have to wait for an hour at the developing center before we could see our photos.

I had a short chat with Dennis (a HS classmate based in the US who’s also into photography) yesterday. He was asking for my opinion about his plan on getting another DSLR – this time for himself. The first camera that he and his wife got is a Canon 50D but after months, he thought he need one for himself alone so there won’t be any issues on who will use the cam during photo ops. I think he is not actually asking for my opinion, he just wanted me to agree to his decision.hahaha. Considering about the issues and situation, I seconded to his plan. Afterall, he will buy the photography gears from his own savings. He desperately wanted to buy a DSLR as soon as possible though I told him he might get a great deal if he’ll wait for the Black Friday sale. Oh well, he can’t wait so let him be. Afterall, it’s for his own personal happiness so that would be a way to treat himself after years of hardwork and possibly, to fight boredom and homesickness. As of today, I haven’t heard from him. Maybe he already got his dream cam with my dream lens (the 24-70 f2.8L). OMgeee!
