Dine outs could hurt our pockets
Eating out is not our thing. Ace prefers home-cooked meals no matter how simple it is. Hence our dine outs are too few to mention lately. We’ve experienced eating out once or twice a week before and it hurts our budget especially if we dine at restaurants. Besides, it is not healthy eating commercially prepared meals or worst, fast food meals. So we just content ourselves with home-cooked meals that we usually enjoy. For lazy and helpless people in the kitchen, dining out is the best solution to feed the family regardless if it’s unhealthy to the body and to the pocket. But since it is the only way to be able to eat a decent meal, no choice but to splurge on dine outs, take outs and food deliveries…thinking it is the coolest thing to do.
No home-cooked meals for a year but dine outs, food deliveries and take outs will cost so much especially if a person is too picky not to eat in low-profile eatery. To sum all the expenses, it could probably bring you to Royal Caribbean cruises! Yes, that’s how expensive. That is why Ace loves eating at home. Though we dine out once in a while for a change. But that once in a while is usually once in every two weeks, or once a month. But I don’t mind. For if I usually blog here about eat outs, it means I cannot cook, I cannot feed my husband home-cooked meals and that is something to be ashamed of.
Precious recipes
Oh my, it’s past midweek…which means, we are close to weekend. I haven’t updated this blog lately, so busy with other things and other blogs. But I haven’t forgot about my recipe sharing project. It’s just that I am too lazy (over and over again!) to write down my recipes so I could post it here. Maybe tomorrow I could do one to at least maintain the niche of this blog which is supposed to be cooking and dining.
My recipes are so precious, as precious as gold coins so I need to take time writing it down and compile. Hope I could really do that and complete a recipe book that I can keep until I grow old.
