Spinach Pizza at Caffe Firenzo
A very thin crust spinach pizza from Caffé Firenzo. We had this and another pizza during some friends’ meet-up on a weekend. Most of us are first-timers in that cafe so we let the experts order for us. The place is quite cozy and the food just good enough. They’re just pricey! I feel like it’s not a good place to visit often because of its ceiling-high prices compared to Davao’s standard and that I won’t be full with their food servings. Just look at the super thin crust pizza, I myself wouldn’t be full with that.
Good thing I am not craving for pizza at this moment so I won’t be drooling over that photo. For now I’d like to look for finger pulse oximeter and check out how it works.
Bulalo at Bulcachong
It’s been years since I wanted to try Bulcachong – the famous local place serving the best Bulalo (Beef bone marrow soup) in the city but Ace and I cannot find enough reason to go there. Maybe that’s because we aren’t too comfortable in trying out new places to eat. You see, we are too uneasy in getting out of our comfort zones especially if it’s just us.
After a friend’s wedding last Jan. 20, we went out with some HS classmates after the reception dinner. The guys had beer over endless catching up with each other. To cap the night, we tried Bulcachong along Gen. Luna St. at past 1AM. Others say Bulcachong’s Bulalo is yummy. It was absolutely YUMMY that I almost forgot about the insurance quote that I need to check!!!! We actually wanna go back there with the troop (PILs, my sisters, BIL and the kids). Oh, I am now drooling. I think I’d better stop looking at the photo so I could concentrate on what I am doing.
If you haven’t been there, try Bulcachong. I am sure you won’t regret going there – that if you are not a picky eater. I mean, you can eat even in not so cozy place.
Salad at Swiss Deli
It’s been a while since we went out of our comfort zones and visited a new place so I can’t share a photo of our new food trips. But here’s one during our first ever dinner at Swiss Deli located along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Lanang, Davao City where my youngest sister used to have her on-the-job training. She was bragging about the resto’s food so we gave it a try.
My sister had this salad. I didn’t get what it is called but it’s a must try for those who are on diet.
Happy Food Trip everybody!
