I am sick and yet…
Seems like I am not sick with the way I am craving for something to eat. I had an early dinner of Chicken ginger stew that my youngest sister cooked (yes, I am excused from doing the house chores because I am sick and I am sooo loving it!hahaha) but I still ate like there’s no tomorrow when Ace arrived with all the food that I requested from Little Ding How. Not an hour has passed after eating that 2nd batch of dinner and I am now hungry again. Now I want something salty…but we don’t have chips around here. Let’s see what I can have for snacks later. Lemme finish looking for furnace filters first. Nope, we don’t need that filters because we don’t have a furnace but it’s listed together with the aircon filters that I am looking for so might as well check it out. Who knows I might need some info one of these days. Now off to check for something to eat (for the 3rd time tonight).
Chicken Feet of Little Ding How
Wahaa! So early to crave for this….

That’s one of hubby’s fave when we’re eating at Little Ding How or Little Kowloon. I tried cooking chicken feet at home but I can’t get the exact taste. Seems I am missing something…and I don’t have luck yet in cooking Chinese cuisine. Maybe I need a little more experimenting on this so I could get it right.
Stuffed Shrimp

This is the best Stuffed Shrimp I have ever tasted. Nothing compares to its yummy real shrimp taste. We’ve already tasted stuffed shrimp of other Dim Sum restaurants but so far this is the best. Others (especially the one in Mandarin Tea Garden) are just filled with extenders and the shrimps? I doubt if it’s a real shrimp. So from then on, we don’t order stuffed shrimp when we’re eating in other Dim Sum restaurants except only in Little Ding How or Little Kowloon (here in Davao) and Harbour City (in Cebu). I just don’t want to eat from others because I might end up frustrated.
Been figuring out how it was prepared (the Ding How way) for years now but I still can’t get it. Maybe I still need more time to research and experiment. Who knows, I’d get it in the long run.
