Carved Watermelon
It takes a skillful hand to create this beautifully carved watermelon and I wish carving fruits and vegetables is easy as cooking because I wanted to learn this skill so much! It adds a very beautiful presentation to the buffet table during special occasions not to mention that it is a nice photography subject.
I am pretty sure the resumes of the students who made this put “fruit carving” as one of their skills and it’s a plus factor if they would apply in restaurants or anywhere they go. This is a skill that needs a lot of patience and practice so I am not in the right position to learn it now. I’ve so many things in my hand and spending time watching videos and getting my hands on carving tools is not a priority at this time. Maybe next time.
Midnight craving
What’s happening? It’s past midnight and I am craving for this….
Ace gave me a back massage early tonight and while he is doing that, I am imagining myself eating green mangoes to the point that I am already salivating. Goodness! Where can I get green mango at this hour? I should have sent Che2x to the store yesterday afternoon to buy me a piece but my craving is not that intense. Now I can’t help but think and imagine that I am munching on crunchy slices of green mangoes dipped in shrimp paste. Yummy! Oh, better get myself busy with other things and check out for a Flexo ink cleaner instead of sitting and thinking of the green mangoes at the neighbor’s store waving at me to buy them.
