Hi world! I’m back, alive and kicking! I was out of the blogosphere for days for the moving prep and the move itself. Now we’re still not settled in our new rented abode but I need to work. I’ll just arrange our stuffs when I am done with my pending tasks.

My body is asking for a rest but there’s so many things that needs to be done so a deep slumber is the most that I could do to reward myself. Ace bugs me to have a whole body massage but I’ll pass on it now. I am not in the mood yet to go to downtown and treat my aching body with a soothing massage. I actually wanted a vacation, even just a simple getaway because we cannot afford a Branson vacation after the very tiring packing and moving days. Another beach getaway would do and I hope we could go back to the beach next month.

We’re home late last night and it was such a long drive. We’re not supposed to go out because I need to finish my post marathon and Ace seemed to be fine with it but I just kept with my word last week to go up the mountain (Carol’s place) so we could also visit and see the progress of the subdivision where we are going to get a house. I said “going” because we haven’t filed Ace’ requirements for housing loan yet. We didn’t file last year because we wanted to see the quality of the house first. We checked the location and the roads isn’t paved yet though there are already layouts for the flooring in the area near the supposedly subdivision’s entrance and once they start building a house, it will be like mushroom showing up one after the other and in no time we could see hundreds of houses already.

While we’re there at Carol and Donald’s rented house, I am making a visual plan where we will position our things. We’re not getting the biggest house that the developer offers so we’ll have a very limited space. I don’t think our sofa set alone could fit in the living area so we must be extend our living area outside the house by constructing a terrace that could serve as receiving and living area. If only there’s a lot of space in the lot, a patio with outdoor fireplaces because we might be staying more outdoors especially that we will be next door neighbors with my sister. We’ll wait and see what we could do with the limited space when we’re there.

We had our late afternoon snack at Pizza Hut in SM last week. Ace is loves their spaghetti that he never fails to order it every time we’re in Pizza Hut. I tried to go out of my comfort zone that I tried the three-cheese Ravioli. My first time to eat Ravioli and I wasn’t disappointed. We actually love Pizza Hut because of the herbs in their dishes.

Over snack, we talked about our soon-to-be own house. Though developer’s progress in preparing the area is slow, and we are waiting for the first house to be built so we could see with our bare eyes the quality of the contractor’s work before we will submit all documents for Ace’ housing loan, we’re getting excited because we know we will get there soon. There’s a lot to prepare for the new abode like getting home insurance quotes to help us prepare our pockets in due time; and saving for the home appliances, furnitures and fixtures. If I don’t care about home insurance now, it’s because we’re just renting but we surely need it when we have our own house.
