Precious as gold
Thanks goodness I was able to find time sorting my collection of recipes yesterday. I need to have it posted in my recipe blog but that has to wait because my hands are full with other things. Those recipes are my collection from can labels, bouillon boxes, printed from my email, and recipe pamphlets that I have collected in my early twenties. Imagine, it’s almost a decade old collection and as precious as a gold coin that I am dreaming to have for an investment! I am planning to make a copy of it but until now I am not sure what medium I would use. Should I make a digiscrap layout for each recipe and have it printed or I will have to write the recipes in an index card and bind it? Any suggestions?
Precious recipes
Oh my, it’s past midweek…which means, we are close to weekend. I haven’t updated this blog lately, so busy with other things and other blogs. But I haven’t forgot about my recipe sharing project. It’s just that I am too lazy (over and over again!) to write down my recipes so I could post it here. Maybe tomorrow I could do one to at least maintain the niche of this blog which is supposed to be cooking and dining.
My recipes are so precious, as precious as gold coins so I need to take time writing it down and compile. Hope I could really do that and complete a recipe book that I can keep until I grow old.
Recipe sharing
Normally, I don’t share my blog posts to my FB account because of so many reasons and one is to prevent workmates from stalking to my blogs. That way, I could still blog on the side when I am not at work. Anyway, I am just too tempted to share the first recipe I have written. If you’ve been following my blogs, I post photos of food from my little kitchen but I don’t share the recipe. It’s not that I don’t want others to know the recipe but I am just too lazy to write it down. I don’t follow recipes on the dot that’s why it is hard for me to write down recipes and writing down my recipes seems harder than cooking that I might need wrinkle cream after I am done with all my dishes.
I’m just glad I shared the recipe to my FB friends that two of my HS classmates who are based abroad swear to try it soon because they’re already missing Filipino foods! Good luck to you guys! I thought I’m done with that but one classmate even commissioned me to look for a Beef Tripas recipe. We’re both online that time but he asked me to search for a recipe. I had a hard time finding one (maybe that’s because he doesn’t have the patience to find one recipe of Beef Tripas). I’m now excited to see the photo of his grilled Beef Tripas tomorrow. I’m already drooling!
