Being in the rat race working under HR gave me the benefit of meeting other HR people from different companies. It’s been nice especially if we need people to fill up vacancies for the hard-to-fill up engineering jobs, even with vacancies forĀ finance jobs that is quite easy to fill up because we ask for referrals from each other if we don’t find qualified applicants in our file. Since I knew about the manpower requirement in other companies, I sometimes relay that info to my former colleagues, friends, and even to the people whom I currently working with that time. So that gave the impression that I know a lot of vacancies that people just come to me and ask where they could apply. In the same way associates in HR would call to ask for referrals. Now that I am not in the rat race, I still receive emails, text messages or calls asking where I could refer them. That made me think, what if I put up a manpower outsourcing company?LOL
